The Peter Falke Pinot Noir embodies the rich diversity of South African terroir in a glass. The characteristics 2019 Red Stellenbosch - South Africa Pinot Noir The winery The exclusive winery of Peter Falke is situated close to the majestic slopes of the Helberg Mountains, in the heart of the Stellenbosch wine regions. The buildings found on the estate date back to the 18th century, which is why Dutch architecture is well recognizable there. On the farm, also known as Groenvlei, there is a large estate used for wine production, and a small but beautiful tasting room. The cherry on top is the breathtaking garden, full of roses and lavender, where you can enjoy the setting sun. The Falke family has been operational in South Africa since 1969. Peter, born in Germany and also known for his socks, realized his dream when he bought Groenvlei in 1995.
